Aazadi Mubarak

69 years , 69 years have gone and where are we still declining, crumbling ,on our knees still begging , killing in the name of honour , bombing hospitals , kidnapping children , losing our legends to target killing , losing eyes to pallet bullets? I can speak all day about Pakistan being drowning in dark hole but think for a moment why are we at this stage? Why have we become so insensitive towards inhumanity ? Why our lips are sealed over oppressions and tyranni ? Why corruption is deep rooted in our society? Is someone plotting against us ? America ? Israil ? India ? No . No . We are plotting against ourselves. It is we who are against us. It is you who is against you . it is not they who are against us.. we are in a deep slumber its time to wake up and inquire ourselves what are we doing for our motherland. Are we truthful to ourselves ?no . Are we torch bearers of unity faith and discipline? No. Are we true followers of hazrat Muhammad (saw) ? No . Are we just to our studies ? No , then how can we reach the glory ? How can we rule the world ? But we can do it. we will do it , only if i , you and we make promise to each other that we will prove ourselves to be truthful , honest and just. Change yourself to change Pakistan. We can take pakistan to glory. Promise me you will never let 1.5 million deaths and still counting to go in vain. Promise me to become human beings first. Promise me not to let down Quaid's dream promise me to bring back enthusiasm that iqbal instilled in us. Promise me u will not break these promises. Promise me that we will work hard even harder to make green passport worth living with. I will end with these verses Jab apna kafla azm o yakeen sy nikly ga Jaha sy chahy gy rasta wgi sy nikly ga Watan ki matti mujhy airiyan ragrny dy Mujhy yakeen hai chashma yhi sy nikly ga. 'Proceed,Proceed' !

One morning He ﷺ said, " Last night I had a dream in which two men(angels came to me and woke me up and said to me `Proceed, proceed'
I set out with them and we came across a man lying down, and behold, another man was standing over his head, holding a big rock. Behold, he was throwing the rock at the man's head, smashing it. When he struck him, the stone rolled away and he went after it to get it, and no sooner had he returned to this man, his head was healed and restored to its former condition. The thrower (of the rock) then did the same as he had done before. I said to my two companions, `Subhan-Allah! Who are these two persons?' They said: `Proceed, proceed.'
So we proceeded and came to a man lying in a prone position and another man standing over his head with an iron hook, and behold, he would put the hook in one side of the man's mouth and tear off that side of his face to the back (of the neck), and similarly tear his nose from front to back, and his eyes from front to back. Then he turned to the other side of the man's face and did just as he has done with the first side. He had hardly completed that (second) side when the first returned to its normal state. I said to my two companions, `Subhan-Allah! Who are these? They said:, `Proceed, proceed.'
So we proceeded and came across something like a Tannur (a kind of baking oven, a pit usually clay-lined for baking bread).'' I (the narrator) think the Prophet ﷺ said, "In that oven there was much noise and voices.'' The Prophet ﷺ added, "We looked into it and found naked men and women, and behold, a flame of fire was reaching to them from underneath, and when it reached them they cried loudly. I asked, `Who are these?' They said to me, `Proceed, proceed.'
And so we proceeded and came across a river.'' I (the narrator) think he said, "-- red like blood.'' The Prophet ﷺ added, "And behold, in the river there was a man swimming, and on the bank there was a man who had collected many stones. Behold, while the other man was swimming, he went near him. The former opened his mouth and the latter (on the bank) threw a stone into his mouth whereupon he went swimming again. Then again he (the former) returned to him (the latter), and every time the former returned, he opened his mouth, and the latter threw a stone into his mouth, (and so on) the performance was repeated. I asked my two companions, `Who are these two persons ?' They replied:, `Proceed, proceed.'
And we proceeded till we came to a man with a repulsive appearance, the most repulsive appearance you ever saw a man having! Beside him there was a fire, and he was kindling it and running around it. I asked my two companions, `Who is this person?'They said to me:, `Proceed, proceed!'
So we proceeded till we reached a garden of deep green dense vegetation, having all sorts of spring colours. In the midst of the garden there was a very tall man, and I could hardly see his head because of his great height, and around him there were children in such a large number as I have never seen! I said to my two companions,`Who is this person?' They replied, `Proceed, proceed.'
So we proceeded till we came to a majestic, huge garden, greater and better than any garden I have ever seen! My two companions said to me, `Ascend up' and I ascended up.'' The Prophet ﷺ added, "So we ascended till we reached a city built of gold and silver bricks, and we went to its gate and asked (the gatekeeper) to open the gate, and it was opened; and we entered the city and found in it men with one side of their bodies as handsome as the most handsome person you have ever seen, and the other side as ugly as the ugliest person you have ever seen! My two companions ordered those men to throw themselves into the river. Behold, there was a river flowing across (the city), and its water was like milk in whiteness. Those men went and threw themselves in it and then returned to us after the ugliness (of their bodies) had disappeared, and they came in the best shape.'' The Prophet ﷺ further added, "My two companions said to me: `This place is the `Adn Jannah, and that is your place.'I raised up my sight, and behold, there I saw a palace like a white cloud! My two companions said to me, `That palace is your place,' I said to them, `May Allah bless you both! Let me enter it.' They replied, `As for now, you will not enter it, but you shall enter it (one day).'

I said to them, `I have seen many wonders tonight. What does all that mean which I have seen?' They replied, `We will inform you: As for the first man you came upon, whose head was being smashed with the rock, he is the symbol of the one who studies the Qur'an and then neither recites it nor acts on its orders, and sleeps, neglecting the enjoined prayers.
As for the man you came upon, whose sides of mouth, nostrils and eyes were torn off from front to back, he is the symbol of the man who goes out of his house in the morning and tells lies that are spread all over the world.
And those naked men and women whom you saw in a construction resembling an oven, they are the adulterers and the adulteresses.
And the man who was given a stone to swallow is the eater of Ar-Riba (usury), and the bad-looking man whom you saw near the fire, kindling it and going around it, is Malik, the gatekeeper of Hell, and the tall man you saw in the garden is (Prophet) Ibraheem (Abraham - alayhisallam), and the children around him are those who died upon Al-Fitrah (the Islamic Faith of Monotheism).''' The narrator added: Some Muslims asked the Prophet , "O Messenger of Allah! What about the children of Al-Mushrikun (i.e., polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammad ?'' The Prophet replied, "And also the children of Al-Mushrikun.'' The Prophet added: "My two companions added, `The men you saw half handsome and half ugly were these people who had mixed an act that was good with another that was bad, but Allah forgave them'.''
May Allah guide us to the right path and showers His blessings upon us.

WHAT KEEPS ME GOING…..

"And in the endless nights and sleepless hours, she let the tears roll down her cheeks hoping that may be the words they said, they things they did and the pain she felt, may be all of it will leave her heart and through the eyes will reach the pillow and disappear. Like her tears did.
It was like losing control over heart & mind. Because something was still pulling her back, making her walk down the memory lane. The whole thing kept flashing in front of her eyes. She wanted this to end, to feel as if nothing had happened and when she couldn't do that, she decided to put a full stop to the suffering for once and for all. That’s when she died, died of the heartache, died of the pain."

What is it that she missed there?
What made her lose herself in the pain so much that she forgot her body still existed though the soul was wasting away?
What could actually pull her back to present instead of past?
What is that one thing we all need to hold on to, and hold on to hard in the times of crisis?
   It’s HOPE
They sayHe who has a WHY to live for can bear with almost any HOW
You all have been there at some point in your lives where you have no freaking idea whether to keep walking or to stop and wait for what you’ve lost along the way.
The loss of someone that you loved or something that you thought was meant to be.
Broken hearts, teary eyes, failed friendships, forsaken relationships and what not !
All those sleepless nights when you see darkness covering the face of earth and you realize that you have lost your reason to live and that it’s the end of the world. But what you don’t realize is that the next day, the sun is still going to rise, people are still going to carry on their way and that you too someday will have to move on. You have got to realize that without knowing sadness, you can’t feel what happiness is, without having felt pain, you can’t know what the joy of relief is. Without having heard the lies, you can’t tell when the other person is being honest. You can’t have a rainbow without a little rain and just like that, without having lost someone, you cannot realize the importance and value of what you already have and what you actually deserve.
So you’ve got to stop thinking what you have lost and what you could have and start thinking about what you already have and what you can achieve. Stop crying over past. Sleep, dream, wake up and start betting on your dreams. You might get tired of chasing people and trying to fix all that’s been broken but remember, that’s not giving up. It’s called moving on.
Even when you are too broken to get up and start a new day, you still have to gather up your courage, cut the string that ties you to the people who are not worth it and MOVE ON. And in the night, instead of soaking pillows with tears, look out of your window, and even if your see a shooting start and even if it’s dying, find that twinkle, try and catch it and make a wish with all your heart. And then, just hope that someday it will all get better and your wish, no matter how silly it is, will come true.
So until then, hang in there, hold fast to your dreams, keep calm and have faith because God knows what He’s doing. Just never lose Hope.
Because that’s what keeps me going and that’s exactly what’s gonna help you walk away too.

“Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come”

The END

  • There was a gardener middle aged man, white blackish hair, white beard, face with quite a smile, very active person indeed of his age. He used to work in society where usually middle class people reside. He never came late to work, never asked for vacation and never asked for raise. He used to do his job ingeniously and diligently. He was very charming and interactive keeping in view the sort of his work. He was perfectionist regarding his job. He never left a single rotten leaf on the trees, shrubs and flowers, never allowed the grass to grow taller than a finger infact never compromised on the beauty of the lawn. He was having a minor medical problem related to his kidney due to which he was having chronic pain. On consultation, truth revealed that surgery was the permanent solution. So, he started to save money from his pay. Despite his condition, he continued to work in pursue of getting money for that surgery. Now all the time during his work or at home he was continually thinking of that day when he would undergo surgery and would be cured.
  • My maternal grandfather, aged above 60 years, was my mentor. He taught me how to write even how to wash my hands. He always motivated me to achieve good grades by giving examples. One of his sons, means my uncle, was doctor living abroad. He decided to visit him for the first time in long time. Everyone was so happy.  He met all his friends, relatives and ate out with them before leaving abroad. There was huge gathering at home. It was a kind of festival. Everyone was laughing, hugging and sharing the smiles.  Everything was ready seats, tickets, and luggage. So they set off from their home town for airport in extraordinary mood.
  • Hassan Zahid got admission in computer sciences in National University of science and technology (NUST). He was very intelligent and lively kid. He was always enthusiastic about his study.  He was very ambitious and wanted to open his own software company. As he got admitted in one of the best universities in the world, his father was very happy and gifted him a new bike.  He himself was very happy. Once during a speech of two minutes on "accident" he said "I fear of losing my father. I once met an accident since then I am more careful and now I use helmet".
  • An old Muslim lady from Norway was planning for years to perform hajj with her son. All the time she was thinking in her mind that how lucky she was that God had chosen her for this pious deed. She was very happy indeed. She boarded for Medina with her son in pursuit of getting blessings from ALLAH.
  • Five juniors were planning to hangout. They asked us for suggestions and we told them some restaurant to visit in Lahore. As they came back, time was over 10 pm and it was rule in our college for the students that no one could enter the college after 10 pm. So, they decided to go Gujranwala which is one hour away from Lahore and was a hometown of one of those kids. They stayed there for the night.

Before leaving for the vacation, gardener completed his work and made everyone's lawn look perfect. In one of the houses he planted orange tree and told the owner that we will eat its fruit next year. Finally the day of surgery had arrived. He was a bit nervous but excited and happy. In the operation theater, surgeons were performing surgery under local anesthesia, while suddenly something went wrong, burst of artery may be, led to profuse bleeding and they could not undo it. That was it. It was the end of the life of that noble person.

As they were leaving for the airport in car, suddenly my grandfather started feeling uncomfortable. He came out of the car and started walking but the pain in chest was not at halt at all. We rushed him to nearby hospital which was 10 km away. But was all in vain. Hospital we approached didn't have the best of the facilities. That was it. It was the end of the life of the dearest person to me.

Hassan Zahid, the next day after dropping his father at the job, was going to his university. At the signal, over speeding taxi hit him from the behind despite of all the protective measures he was taking, he met an accident, got injuries which ultimately led to his death.

That old lady, who waited her whole life to visit the holy city, died of stroke in the plane. And the plane had to make an emergency landing in Greece to off load her dead body.

Juniors had to return for the match early morning. They were driving back to Lahore like a flying horse. In that rush, they met a life changing accident; two of them died named M. Nausherwan and Usama bin Arshad.
ng
.

Life is uncertain. Death is certain, as told in the Quran Surat 'Āli `Imrān  "Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion"  So, do not desire for death, it will come to you at its own time.
Have you ever imagined that what is the death rate in the world? Here are some figures
ü  1.8 deaths per second
ü  107 deaths per minute
ü  6,390 deaths per hour
ü  153,000 deaths per day
ü  53 million deaths per year
ü  3.9 billion deaths per average life time
Among all the countries South Africa has the highest mortality rate and among all the reasons cardiovascular events is the leading cause of death in the world. As you are reading these words more than 300 people have died in the world.
But the main point is that we have forgotten that we have to die one day. One of the many solutions to the problems that we face today is that remembrance of the fact that we have to die one day and have to go empty handed from this world. Nothing but our good deeds will save us. Life has an end and it is THE END from where no one can return. So, do not fall for the delusions and be prepared for THE END.   May Allah show us the right path to follow. Amen!

Spread but TRUTH !

Plato came to his teacher, Socrates, and told him that his servant was talking bad about him in the marketplace. Socrates smiled and asked him, 'What was he saying?' Plato said, angrily, 'He was saying that...' Socrates motioned to Plato with his hand to stop, and smiled, 'Before you tell me this, apply the Test of Three on it, ponder over it and then decide if you should be telling me this. Plato inquired, 'What is this Test of Three?' Socrates said, 'Are you sure that what you are about to tell me is absolutely true?' Plato at once nodded in negative at the question. Socrates smiled and said, 'Then what benefit will it bring you or me if you tell me about it.' Plato quietly stared at his teacher's face. 'This was the first test and we move on to the second,' he continued, 'what you are about to tell me, is it a good thing?' Plato shook his head and replied, 'No, it is a disrespectful thing to say.' Socrates asked, 'Do you think it is wise to tell your teacher something like that?' Plato again shook his head. Socrates said, 'Thus, this does not follow even the second test.' Plato kept staring at his teacher’s face. Socrates said, 'And the final test. What you are about to tell me, is it beneficial for me?' Plato replied, ‘Oh no, teacher, this is beneficial for you in the least.' Socrates smiled and said, ‘If it is not beneficial for me, then what is the need to tell me about it?' Plato started looking right and left in utter amazement.
That was a great lesson for Plato and for all of us: we should not talk without being factual and there should be truthfulness in our conversation .we usually blab and blather about others without confirming the truth. It is sad that we spent hours on useless discussions with no ultimate conclusions , which mostly include rumours or back biting of another person. we should decide today that we will not spread any word unless it is authentic , valid , divine and beneficial.  we should decide ourselves whether we want to talk useless or productive . We have two ears but one mouth for a reason; so that we might listen more and talk less.
Be a good listener. If you will be a good listener , you will be listened . If you keep secrets , your secrets will be kept. Respect others to be respected. Speak less so that when you speak, people listen . Do positive discussion with the peers to be benefited with knowledge and positivity. Spread knowledge not false rumors. Do a little research before telling someone about something. Don't spread suspicions. As Allah said in the Quran "O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah, verily, Allah is The One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful" (Qur'an 49: 12)
This quality of healthy discussion is diminishing from our society. We usually talk bad about others , project a bad image of others and try to spread it without confirming. We assume things and try to spread our assumptions. Which is one of the many evils in our society. We must eradicate it unless it's too late: and then it will be impossible for us to uproot it. Today, let us make a promise with ourselves that we will not believe and spread rumors and that we will only share or spread knowledge!
May God help us all to follow the right path. Ameen!

SAVE ME !

I am 8 years old. I am lying here in one of the dark holes in GAZA. I cannot breathe. There is blood everywhere. I am dying! I am not alone. My mother was with me when I heard a loud explosion. I can see my mother right now. But she is not moving. I cannot see her blinking her eyes. It is like she is constantly watching me.  I don't know whether she is dead or alive. I think she is asking me to cry for help. But I am afraid that if I cry out there will  be more explosions.
I don't remember exactly what happened. All I remember is that they found dead bodies of three Israelis and then they kidnapped one of the Palestinian Muslims and burnt him alive. We protested with the stones in our hands and they reacted with bombs. They start dropping bombs from fighter planes. One of the bombs fell on our house and everything went black. I woke up in this dark hole, dying along with my mother. My father has already gone somewhere. He went yesterday to bring something to eat and has not returned since. I am still hungry and waiting for him. Maybe he will come and save us if he is still alive. My mother told me that if I keep fast without eating or drinking I will get a greater reward from God. My mother told me that we are in a state of war. We are fighting for our land, for our rights . But I asked her a question which she never answered. If we don't have an army, no air force, no navy, then how we are fighting ? I asked her why is no one helping us? Why are they killing us, we did not do anything?  Why media is not telling the world that they are killing us ? She only answered with tears and said that God is there to protect us.
I read in my textbook that there are about 7 billion people in the world. I don't know how much a billion or how big this world is. I know only people. They are cruel. They are busy watching the World Cup. I saw missiles coming from over the wall. Some people must have fired them to kill us, but I have done nothing wrong. My father or mother never killed or hurt anyone. Why are these people killing us? Before we moved into our house we had been living in a refugee camp. Life was very difficult there. I hate those people now. I think they are all the same. Those who are killing us and those who are not helping us are all the same.
Why is not anyone trying to stop this so-called war. Where are the Muslim countries, where are the Muslim leaders, where is the Muslim nuclear power, Pakistan. I don't need their leader's criticism, I don't need their protests. I need their help. I need my parents. I need food. I am dying of thirst. I am dying of heat. I am dying here now. Please save me. I am begging for help. I promise I will not disobey  anyone, I will never tell a lie. I want to be a doctor. Don't let my dreams die.
These people are not humans. Please save me from them. I am dying here, please save me!

MY SHADOW

I was walking alone towards the cafe when I noticed something was following me. MY SHADOW. My shadow is dark and glorified. It is like a well trained pet. I can control it. It always follows my commands .It becomes what I want it to be. I can make it taller or shorter, fatter or slimmer , bigger or smaller or anything using my imagination. Shadow is actually my triumph. It is my success. It is my reward.
But a shadow needs  power for its existence and that power is LIGHT. If there is  no light there will be no shadow. LIGHT is the power house for the creation of a shadow. Light gives life to a shadow. Light can turn a tiny shadow into a giant one. Focus ,strength and  intensity of light matters for the formation , definition and  even the very existence of a shadow.  Here, Light is  knowledge. Light is your conscious. It is motivation. It is a driving force which keeps you determine.
When walking along the pavement ,observing my shadow , I realized that there will be no shadow without me no matter how much light is present. Light is dependent on an opaque object  for the creation of a shadow. My shadow is because of me . What if there was light but not me ? Light alone can't create shadows, there must be "someone" for the light to collide with, there must be someone to absorb that light. That "someone" is WILL POWER. " someone" is self awareness ,that someone is YOU.

I am always inspired by nature, it teaches us. This time my shadow taught me how to get what I desire . At the end of the walk I came to the conclusion that to achieve success (shadow) you need two things  will power(you)  and motivation (light). Without these ingredients you can't taste victory.  As famously quoted "where there is a Will , there is a way" . Motivation is like taking a bath , you have to take it daily otherwise you will be rusty. so , expose yourself to the light and let yourself cast a shadow to mark your existence.
